Smart should start every game with an easy shot or penetrating drive to the basket. He seems to be one of those types that can start a game really well if he gets a good first look.

He drives out of control alot. He needs to use his speed then pull up for the short jumper. Because that lane closes quickly.

Any time you drive into a pack of defenders, full speed, you are out of control. Imo.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
