you doing these free hand or tracing a reference image?

nice work... back in design school i was gonna do somethign like this; a series... it would of been Rondo, PJ Brown, PP, Perk, KG, Ray, Eddie House, Posey, Scal.. shows you how long ago i was in school ;-)

Using mostly a pen tool to get a line drawing, kinda like what tattoo artists do when drawing portraits. All in all took about 40 layers for that, realized I could have cut it down to half that halfway in.
