To okc: Wroten, Evan Turner, Zeller future protected 1st from bos

To bos: jones, Novak, Adams, augistine

To philly: waiters, Rozier

Boston gets a big and some wing depth.

absolutely terrible trade for OKC
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

So why would OKC want or even need Zeller at the expense of Adams again?

I assume cutting costs in order match Kanter.  Zeller at his currently salary would be the best value backup center in the league IMO
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Zeller is making more than Adams next year and is a worse defender. His strength is in his offense, where he's better than Adams but bested by Kanter. Zeller doesn't improve the Thunder in any way; in fact, this trade would actually hurt them in that their interior defense would take a significant hit. OKC doesn't need to double down on scoring from the center position.

I wouldn't say he would be a terrible deffender though and beside Ibaka and mcgary they will definatly help. I'm assuming that's why they matched kanter they think they can play good enough defense on the perimeter and with Ibaka to mask them. Zeller fits perfectly for the thunder and I've read from a bunch sites that they want to cut costs as much as possible. Adams is our price for taking on money and we send them a first to help compensate for the value. I forgot to include Novak to us as well that's partly why I was moving Adams to us.

OKC can easily dump Novak and Jones with a draft pick. Zeller isn't an upgrade for them at all.

I would hate to see Novak on our team.
