Don't we already have an overweight forward that doesn't play defense? Carmelo Anthony isn't a winner.

Why do you want to get Stevens fired? We will already probably experience regression to the mean (the normal experience of every coach that seemed to get his team to overachieve). Adding Melo will make everyone less effective as he kills our teamwork. I'll pass.

I don't mind trading for Melo if the trade immediately makes the Cs a top 3 team in the league.

No point trading for the 30 something Melo if its going to take the Cs longer than a year to be at that level.

Anyone who thinks that the Knicks aren't tanking is smoking the gaunj.

Just look at this quote,

"Yay!  Now that we have Robin Lopez, Aaron Afflalo's corpse and Derrick Williams we can finally start COMPETING!" ~ No one ever

I think the only way New York trades Melo is if the Celtic's offered Smart, Lee, a possible third player, and a pick/picks.  I'm not saying Ainge should do it, but if I were Phil Jackson and trying to rebuild I would think hard about that trade.

Melo has a NTC! He is not waiving that to go to Boston

Ugh....

It would be harder to find a worse fit player .......maybe Kobe ....toss up

A lazy , selfish diva on the Celtics ...... ::).   ..he belongs on either the Knicks or Lakers .....FOREVER

Please leave him there until he retires.

He is square peg ......not fitting into the Celtics theme/style of play......makes ZERO sense for what CBS is trying to do...... ::)
