So... it seems we are more or less all on board with Danny trading for a SF scorer or a rim protecting Center. It seems to me there are two teams that could really help us out while improving their own core. First Milwaukee:
This team is a polar opposite of Boston: Rich with SF and Centers, and poor in SG and PF (unless you see parker and giannis as their future PF). They just signed Monroe who is now their starting Center (he has proven he cannot play away from the basket) so they have Zaza, Henson and Plumlee backing him up. Also, at SG they have Middelton - again signed for big bucks (but some would say a SF as well) and at SF - Giannis, Parker, Dudly and Middelton.
Since we are not getting their big guns - how about:
Henson + Dudly + Pick for Sully + AB
They get a solid bench player in AB and a backup/ starter PF for a guy who will walk at the end of the season. We get a rim protecting center who is super long and has not had a chance to play + future flexibility.
A possible smaller deal would be ET + Pick for Henson - since ET can play SG and Bucks seem to love long guys who can play multiple positions and can't shoot...
A better deal for us would be to trade with Minni. We have a long history of trading (fleecing) this team and there could be a deal to be made:
Dieng + Budinger for Kelly + AB
We get a defensive minded young Center who will have a hard time playing behind Pek + KAT and a very good shooting SF. They get a SG who can play some defense (unlike Martin) and a stretch 4 to open things up for their big men (they are currently featuring Bennet and Payne at PF...)
