With Denver moving towards rebuilding , plus drafting , I cant see Lawson being part of their lt plans.

Kings wanted Lawson before bc of the Lawson/Karl connection ,but with them obtaining Rondo, throw that idea out the door.  No other team has madd much noise about wanting Lawson, other than the Celts. Trade idea

To Den:  Sullinger, Zeller, Turner, Rozier, future 1st
To Celts: Lawson, Chandler, Jokic

Starting lineup

Amir
Lee
Chandler
AB
Lawson

Bench

KO
Jerebko/Mickey
Crowder/Young
Smart/Hunter
IT

We are not going to make a trade that results in Smart coming off the bench.

How does that trade work per CBA?

I like Lawson, but there are just too many guards and pf in this team...

After the trade

We still got Hunter and Young(all prospects)
We got Smart AB and IT (rotational players)

A. Lawson and Bradley backcourt is too small imo, add IT to the mix, and we are very very small.
B. I think the Lee trade is an upgrade for us, and I don't think upgrading the backcourt is too big of a priority
C. Not comfortable with Smart coming off the bench. He earned that starting role and I believe he will be a better player than Bradley, give him another year or two

I'd focus on SF and center (my opinion)

I like Chandler though, but I'd move on from Lawson

I was going to include wallace. Then i forgot he was traded.

Prob have to take out Chandler or Include AB or find another creative way to make the trade happen

If he fits into the Prince TPE, I'd consider Chandler. Could use another SF.

How many Denver trade threads can get started in a single week? Let's set a new record...

My gut feeling is ,this is the last move Danny makes this offseason before the season starts

Lawson and Mudiay does not really work as a backcourt pair. Denver will trade Lawson and move fwd with a decent return

I love myself a Chandler for small forward. You made a GREAT point with Lawson and Mudiay. I may not be interested in Lawson but wonder if we can get anything nice in return to facilitate a 3-way trade?

Honestly now, what is it with the obsession that so many people have on this blog with Ty Lawson?

Having IT and Lawson on the same team is redundant and unnecessary.  And then if you were to include IT in a deal for Lawson, it would be like making a trade just to make a trade for the heck of it.  This team already has a ridiculous abundance of guards, so why is it that the first person you think of trade for is another guard?

At least if we're going to talk Denver trades, why not talk Wilson Chandler? since ya know, this team actually needs small forwards...unlike guards.

(1) Concerns over lack of dribble penetration from guard spots last season. The desire to add someone who can beat that first line of the defense and create better offensive opportunities for the team.
(2) Ty Lawson is known to be on the trade block. The only established quality starting PG who is easily available in a trade right now. If Damien Lillard was on the trade block, people would talk about getting him but Lillard isn't. Ty Lawson is.
(3) Many people rate Ty Lawson higher than Isaiah Thomas and think that upgrading from I.Thomas to Ty Lawson would improve the team.

Thought about it. But Gallo would not fit under CBS for defense

Never liked Lawson. With Smart, IT and Rozier already here I like him even less.
