Getting closer to a solid playoff team, could hit 45 wins.

People truly believe the Wizards weren't playing a 37-year-old Paul Pierce in the year 2015, huh?

Atlantic Division maybe but that might be a stretch
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I think we have a division championship roster right now because we have some serviceable vets and some young hungry talent.  We've got a good group just need a few addition and subtraction a and for Stevens to really cement his coaching schemes.

Of course not, no where even close.  If Cleveland stays healthy, with Love and Irving back full time, they are probably favorites in the East.  A lot of teams in the East improved, while the scorecard for the Celtics so far is mixed.

The West has changed a lot also, but is still the stronger division.

Right now, we're a borderline playoff team...at best.

Thanks Rak for clearing that up for us. Cleveland will "probably" be favorites?

In all seriousness, the better question is, "Do we have a 3 or 4 player core that could be the nucleus of a team that contends for a title?"

The answer, emphatically, is no.

What's with the snarkiness?  Atlanta had the better regular season record this past year and injuries can happen at any time to any one.

Also, teams trying to catch Cleveland will look to make additional trades between now and the next deadline, so anything is possible.

Probably is the best term at the moment, based on the players currently on the teams in the East.
