Smart not playing?

Chillin on the sidelines, on the baller status.

Probably a good idea, but it's a bummer.

I love watching him play. We'd have more than 9 points at 3 minutes to go in the quarter if Smart were out there...

Agreed, bittersweet. Look forward to the season though, and it was nice to read his post-game comments about working on getting to the rim more now.

Wow...

Okafor looks bulky...and really slow.

I know he was said to have poor lateral mobility but I didn't realise he was this bad.  Doesn't like much more mobile than Sully...if at all.  Not as fat though lol

I was saying something like this yesterday. He's less dominant than his stat lines indicate.

After Okafor gets into NBA shape, this kids gonna be a load. Especially on the offensive end of the floor.
Very aggressive, great foot work, he'll be on the free throw line all game long.

Mickey is a pretty bad rebounder

That statement applies to pretty much our whole summer league team.  We can't hang on to the ball.

He makes me sick.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Nice And-1 by Thornton.

Highlights I've seen suggest this kid can really score, hope we get to see some of that tonight.  I like that the seems fairly comfortable out there - doing a solid job at the point.  Not rushing things, playing at his pace, etc.

Agree.  I understand he's trying to impress, but I want to see more from the guys who will actually make the team.

And is it me or does he have a bizarrely long neck?

That was a pretty ugly 1st quarter.  Rozier and Royce had some decent plays, but that was about it.  Is it just me or did our summer league team last year look way ahead of these guys?

I mean it was just summer league but KO, Smart, and the crew last year were at least fun to watch.

(gotta stay positive, must stay positive..)

Thornton doesn't look like a basketball player yet. He'll be a good fit in Maine and might turn into something special in a year or two. He's a better athlete than a basketball player right now.
