Once the Amir Johnson signing becomes official we are required to renounce it.

This. I think there's a room still for Amir Johnson to be signed through a S&T with Toronto (terms would need to be slightly modified), and if that's the case we can keep our TPEs (except Rondo's).

Otherwise, we lose all our TPEs.

Yeah, they would need to add a third year (also can be non-guaranteed) to do it as an S&T.   It would fit very nicely into the Rondo TPE.

Barring some other transaction, I don't know why Danny wouldn't prefer to do it that way.  He'd be able to keep the Prince TPE and potentially create another small one with LA over the Bass signing.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

Yeah, we don't know what these deals will actually be because none of them are real yet. But we have other options to get guys, the key is finding someone to get.
