Is there a chance to sign and trade him?

If so, I hope Bass has one last solid play for the Celtics left in him.

What does LA have that we would want?   Please do not say Randle or Russell for Bass as that is not going to happen.

A trade exception equal to the value of Bass' new contract.

Don't forget the heavily protected 2nd round pick.

Bass was a tremendous worker. Got better every year as a pro. Really worked to become a good defender, better passer, even more range on his shot.

Those calling him garbage are acting like guys who just got dumped by their girlfriend for a cooler guy.

Let it go, fellas.

I know right?  What a rotten dead horse.  I'm on your side man because it seems like no one around here is original anymore.  Those really bitter dudes...

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

If it's for more than the MLE, it's a genuine asset in Ainge's hands.

Huge loss. Lakers now the favorites in the west.

I hope he got paid. Bass was a great Celtic, always worked hard, kept improving, and never complained. I really wanted to see him on a contender, but if not, I would be happy if he got a nice paycheck.

Ditto. Good Luck Brandon and thanks for all the years of professionalism.
