Also this is the make or break year for Sullinger. If he's the same old Big Mac sully this year then I want him shipped out of town.

On our team, it's Jared Sullinger again. I've been expecting for a couple of years now that he was going to get in shape for his contract year. If he's fit, he still has all-star level skill.

I'm not that excited about James Young, to be honest. He might be a good player, but even stars don't kick but their first year or two in the league. The best case scenario for Young is that he's an overall bad player who demonstrates some really good hustle and improvement.

On other teams, I'm as curious as everyone else about Porzingis and Embiid.

James Young---and if he misses some shots early---KEEP Shooting....When Danny Ainge first came to the Celtics, he couldn't hit the side of a barn--Red told him to keep shooting it.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Celtics:

Marcus Smart: will be interesting to see him without an ankle injury and with a full year of experience under his belt, plus he'll start from day one.  I'm pumped for him.

Crowder: He will be the starting 3 on purpose for the whole season, I want to see how he develops from here.  There is a scenario where he plays really well, it would be cool to see that.

KO: I want to see him embarrassing other teams' benches early on and get a taste for it.  He absolutely has it in him, but he needs to beat up on bad players to get going.

Non Celtics:

Porzingis & Hezonja: I want both of them to be good, because I want world basketball to be better than it is and these two would be hugely influential if they pan out.  It feels dirty and gross to root for a Knick, but I'd love to see Porzingis succeed in particular.

Greg Monroe: The whole Bucks team is interesting, but I don't remember a signing like this before.  I would love for him to do good

Sully, Young, IT, Smart and Crowder most of all.

Also like to see the draft picks make headway and prove some value.

Overall feel like if one or two players don't live up to expectations this season, we have a deep roster who will thrive.

Sully is probably the guy who if he plays like we think he can, will make the biggest difference.

Im excited most to see James Young and Marcus Smart's development. Otherwise I want to see how Sullinger plays with less weight, and how Olynyk takes the next step.
