  • GOT IT!!!
Varejao is expendable they should dump him if they can get much deeper at another position. Gilbert is going to break the bank for a title this season.

We need this trade to go down, followed by the annual Brook Lopez injury.

The shell of Anderson Varejao taking up cap room the next two offseasons isn't a bad thing either.

Hope this goes through for the '16 pick's sake!

Nets seem more interested in saving taxes than denying us a good draft pick.  Cool.

Sadly right now our biggest hope is the Nets suck this year, this move would help that hehehe.

Hopefully LeBron is OK with them sending out his boy Varejao to make this happen.  It seems unlikely to happen otherwise.  This would be awesome for us.

Irving / Delladoeva

What a $120 million roster looks like. Unless Lebron and West sign for the league minimum, then its only a $95-100 million.  :o
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

There is no way this will happen. Gilbert isn't going to drop $130mil on a team where all his stars were injured in the season prior.

Gilbert is going to spend as much as the rules allow, I think.

It will be interesting to see how high he goes.  He might owe more in luxury taxes alone than any other team owed in payroll and luxury taxes combined.

"All-In"

JJ would likely play a lot of SF, behind James, or with James at PG or PF.

BUYING A TITLE?

They're going to try.  Stuff like that doesn't normally work, but with Lebron, it probably would.  Give him talent and depth, and a title is virtually guaranteed.
