After looking over the Celtics roster and our Summer League squad I can't help but look forward to the  Maine Red Claws games i'll be attending next winter with my son.  I have hopes that Young will stick with the big squad and that our rooks will get fair time, but more and more it looks like Rozier, Hunter and Mickey will get plenty of minutes in the D-League.

I really like that the Celtics have shown a willingness to develop players through the D-League....It was certainly useful for Bradley and likely helped keep Young's confidence up when he was riding the pine with the big club.  Plus....who can argue cheap tickets to see future Celtics.

PG- Rozier
SG- Hunter
SF- Babb
PF- Holmes
C-  Mickey

I might have to get season tickets...

I would recommend getting season tickets to the
Claws for you. Judging from your post you
May want to understand the difference between d league talent and nba talent a tad more.

Where was the comparison of NBA talent to D League talent?  Please enlighten me with your superior basketball acumen.

The point I was trying to make is its fun to watch the kids play...especially for cheap.  The D-league clearly has its flaws but it becoming more and more important as teams draft 19 year olds that are physically unprepared to perform at the NBA level.

If only I lived in an area to see red claws play, would be an interesting watch to see our rookies develop. I don't think RJ will be in DL though, he is a junior out of college.

No problem, even the last of the PGA Tour years seem like a blast from the past  :'(
