I don't see how we people here say that we are going to be worse than last year. Like really, for half the season we had rondo and green, The team that should be looked at is the post all star group. We didn't get worse in the off season, I think people are still salty that we didn't make a big "Splash". Its not Danny's fault no one wanted to come here. I can't picture any way our team actually gets worse, like some people here predict. Tanking is not the answer to all problems.

go look up the 07-08 washington wizards.  scrappy team that had no discernable superstar and relied on both team play and overachieving players to bring themselves to the 5th seed in the East that season.  the front office was so satisfied that they brought back the majority of their team the next season to watch the growth.  now go look up the 08-09 washington wizards.

What happened to then was no Gilbert Arenas,

46-36

Stevens gets the team ranked into the top 10 defensively.
Superior play calling makes up for a lack of above average talent at the offensive end.

45 or 46 wins. This team will be better, and I believe that Danny will make some moves around the trade deadline. Whether those trades positively or negatively affect the team is too hard to predict at this moment. Brad Stevens alone gives this team 8-10 more wins, so expect them to play better than their talent suggests.

35-47, a five game swing. Many of the teams right behind us improved more than we did and others will recover players who were out for the season. Some both. We also picked up a few at the end of the year from teams benching starters.

On the plus side, this team will be a lot more fun to watch than the team the first half of last season.

35-47 unless there is a major trade between now and trade deadline.

42-40

Gritty and hard play from the 1-3 spots. Sully and KO underperform with both having an injury plagued season (more than last year). Stevens is forced to play real small ball.

Or,

50-32 as everyone stays healthy and the opportunity to practice allows the team to solidify it's identity as a team no one wants to play against.

We are the Butler Celtics and take first in the Atlantic.

42-40. I think we will be just slightly better than last year since we plan to have many of the same players around for the whole year. However, I do agree that some non-playoff teams in the conference have had a couple of key signings or are just simply going to be healthy.

Anyone hoping for a tank job will likely be disappointed.

33-49

We didn't play well against teams over 500 last year and the teams under 500 we did beat got better.

The East will be better this year.

if we are good enough to get 49 wins, then I doubt we get swept in the first round.
