So it seems we've added a free agent at PF that could fit really well defensively and brought back our own guys in Crowder and Jerebko. So there is one Restricted FA that I think we could potentially add for the right price. Enes Kanter is a player I do think the Thunder will not match at about 4 year 12 mil. Instead of using cap space we would sign and trade sending Isaiah Thomas and Jerebko over to OKC for Enes Kanter.

2015/16 Starters:
PG: Marcus Smart/Terry Rozier
SG: Avery Bradley
SF: Jae Crowder
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Enes Kanter

Thomas gives OKC a legitimate 6th man and very good depth on their bench.

how is his defense? i hear it is not very good, but i am not an expert of kanter. not sure he would add that much to the team...this is ignorance talking, not a fixed opinion.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

His defense is bad. To make the tradeoff of his offense tenable you'd need a great defender at PF (someone like Favors or Ibaka). I don't think he's a guy who helps the Celtics much.

Don't think Kanter fits what Stevens is looking for out of a big. Mobile, rim runner. Quick enough laterally to defend the pick n roll. Offensively can hit a perimeter shot and make a pass. Owns his own space and can rebound. That is his profile. Hence Johnson and Zeller to a degree.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

OKC is reportedly ready to offer Kanter a deal starting at $15.5 million, so...

Kanter is a great inside scorer but horrific on defense. Need a big beside him that can stretch the floor giving him space to operate and protect the rim. There are like 3 of those kind of Bigs in the entire NBA. Ibaka, AD and KAT. Ibaka happens to play for OKC so he is a perfect fit beside Kanter.

Jerebko can't be traded with another player for a few months.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

OKC is in talks to resign him, I doubt this happens.
