The are going on two decades without having to rebuild and this only prolongs that from happening. I'm jealous

So by adding Aldridge the Spurs might (for the first time since David Robinson) not be the single most boring team in the NBA?

Anyway doubt they are going to be so great. Tim Duncan is 500 years old and will probably be useless this year, Parker is massively overrated, Green is a role player.  Its basically aldridge and Leonard is the team.

The Spurs will be great. They still have Pop.

Ahem....you seem to have forgotten about NBA finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

He didn't forget about him as he mentioned it's basically Aldridge & Leonard. However, he is [really incorrect] to say that Duncan is done and Parker is overrated. ... He did forget that they have the BEST coach in the NBA.

Who is talking about forever? He's there now and this year.

If you think the Spurs are boring then you don't like basketball and you certainly won't like the way the Celtics play.  Either way, don't know why I'm bothering with this silly comment.

TP. Spurs style of play has evolved over the years since '07.

Smart move for him

But man, me just being a whiny fan for a moment, this situation just seems ridiculously unfair.

The Spurs are gonna smoothly transition from one championship core to another.

Tim Duncan is almost 40.  Tony Parker and Ginobli are also getting old.  I like LaMarcus Aldridge but adding him to Kawhi Leondard doesn't guarantee anything.  It's a great start, let's see how that plays out for them

Spurs will dismantle the Clippers (sorry Pierce) and OKC.

Spurs-Warriors West Finals will be interesting.
