The Clips are looking to deal Jamal and they need a center.

I would gladly deal Zeller and Turner for Crawford and start Crawford at the 3.

Amazing shooter who averages 16 points per game.

Turner would just be a throw away.

I like Jae but don't think he should be starting and Crawford would give us some great center.

Then sign another center to replace Zeller (Jordan Hill, Koufos or (gulp) Biyombo.)

I am not saying I don't like the trade but there is NO WAY Crawford can play the 3.

Already have bench scoring guard in Isaiah Thomas.  I don't think Crawford would add much to this team given the composition of the backcourt. I think the team needs a 2nd center in Tyler Zeller more so than it needs another scoring & no defense guard like Jamal Crawford.

If I am not mistaken GPap thinks that Smart can defend the opposing 3's, so maybe he is thinking of Crawford as a ball handler with Smart and Bradley on the wings.  Again I am just speculating but I think I remember him making that argument.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Your definition of "amazing shooter" must mean "amazing at unrepentant volume chucking."

And that's going to help the center situation how?

Let's trade a young big man for a 35 year old undersized sg.  Don't you think we have enough of those already?
