If he goes to New York:
C--Robin Lopes
PF-LaMarcus Aldridge
SF-Carmelo Anthony
SG-Aaron Affalo
PG-Jose Calderon

Not a bad team at all..they could go after Rondo  ;)

I read that the Knicks only have $7 million left in cap space after singing R.Lopez and A.Afflalo.

They cannot afford Aldridge.

NYK will a little over $7.3m in room plus Room ML [2.8] to add more pieces. Roughly $30m in room for 2016-17.

  • GOT IT!!!
Now that Mavs are getting DJ I think they have a shot now.
I don't think they can sign them both unless the Clips or Blazers are willing to do a sign and trade.  I'm not sure the Mavs have enough to entice them to do it.

Yeah I've changed my mind after rethinking it.

I actually think the Suns.  They have a good organization and some good players and he can really be the leader of the team.

I know the Spurs and all but I kind of feel like he is interested in the things the Suns are offering vs the Spurs.  I'm not sure if he is that kind of ring seeker and on the Suns he gets to really be THE guy.  Part of my thinking is that if he wanted the Spurs so bad he would have already chose them.  I know he's hearing everyone out but if you are really trying to win a title foremost you obviously go with them.

Sounds like the Lakers are most likely now.

uhhh what?

Suns I hope

But true Spurs would be the ultimate force to defeat Doc and LeBron

He's going back to Portland where he can make the most money.

"Rockets believe odds of getting LaMarcus Aldridge are stronger after the Beverley and Brewer deals. Rockets can do a sign-trade for him."

Josh Smith still isn't signed correct?  It'll be interesting to see what direction they go.  Personally, I think it's a good move if they try and do it.

The Rockets surprised people making it to the west finals, but they sure weren't fooling me that they were actual contenders.  Let's not forget, they were down 3-1 in the second round including by 18pts at the end of the 3rd in game 5.  It was a nice comeback, but I think it was fools gold, and if the Rockets trade for Aldridge, that means they think it was fools gold too.

A Beverly/Harden/Ariza/Aldridge/Howard starting lineup looks pretty darn good in my opinion.

I believe Aldridge will sign with the Spurs
Cuz he wants to win now and spurs have the team and coach to do it and that have proven to be able to win it all
As well as remain competitive compared to other teams that are more of a gamble

Also to OP why didn't u list trailblazers
Even though they are clearly building to get younger and Aldridge has said he is leaving
For nostalgia sake you could have placed it in their with the other teams
In case Aldridge has had a change of heart
