I've been mentioning Ingram for over a year now. He is the guy that I like, regardless of who is no 1. He has more potential than any of the rest and has unparalleled length and quickness. Also he is an underrated passer. One thing to consider is that he is the youngest kid in the draft, and even younger than James Young when he was drafted. This may help us because he will naturally get stronger by leaps even after his 1 season at Duke.
Ingram will never be a BIG guy. All reports from DUKE the summer are that he is working hard to get stronger and can play every position, which I explained in another post. Think of him physically as a mixture of Durant and the Greek Freak.

Quote
Small forward Brandon Ingram certainly looks the part of a high upside small forward prospect registering the 2nd longest wingspan on this roster with a frame that has a lot of potential for growth. His wingspan ranks among the most impressive wingspans for a small forward in our extensive database. His standing reach is equally impressive, ranking just a half an inch below that of Kevin Durant who measured 6-10.25 in shoes with a 7-4.75 wingspan and a 215-pound frame in 2007. Ingram's frame will need a lot of work at 196 pounds, but his height, wingspan and standing reach are phenomenal for a wing player.

Because of his age I give him more time to gain that weight but it may help us get him in the top five if he is not as effective on Duke because of his strength/weight......But I also said last summer that we were lucky that Karl Towns went to UK because there were so many big men there and he would be overlooked possibly......so hope I am not making same mistake stating this about Ingram and getting my hopes up.

Also Someone said Ingram was not athletic. Well then you don't know what your talking about. Yes his length obviously helps but he regularly plays point and burns his defender with his speed......not to mention his handle. Here is a video of him testing his vertical in the past few weeks.

Watch his handles, quickness, and crafty moves.

How does that list not include, Thon Maker

I think he and the Skal are very good talents.

Thon is going to be in the 2017 Draft.
Ya Thon said he wanted to play with his younger brother another year. Shame he is not going to be in this draft because we have so many picks. 2017 draft is very good, but I have yet to hear anyone say Dennis Smith JR or Bam Bam or Udoka Azubuike(age questions but is the strongest player I've seen in awhile and still has 2 years till draft). I have predicted Dennis Smith Jr to go #1.

Thon was down on many peoples list but has a revival the last 6 months and showed that he is right back in the discussion.

Unfortunately, Dennis Smith Jr. Tore his ACL recently and will miss 6 months, so I think it's going to be tough for him to pass the top 3 with an injury shortened season. He's great though, and that draft class is loaded.

I'm only interested in Simmons or Skal

Danny won't be repeat picking 3-4 players

He is likely going to use all of his picks for the 16 draft , add a vet or two, to bring in a superstar

I think it's a bit premature to judge the draft class
I judge draft classes once they r in the league
Or latest after they have finished college

2011 and 2013 were said to be weak drafts but they both have produced players that flew under the radar of most scouts and ended up being drafted later
