Hearing that Tobias Harris may be closing in on a deal he'd agree to, team still unclear, but he's made progress towards a deal

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Hawks would still be a great spot for him to replace Demare Carroll.
They could throw him at Lebron with Millsap.
He's only coming to us on a good value deal.
Something like $13 million or less.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Fingers crossed

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

Yeah, but the Hawks just aquired Splitter and gave big money to Millsap so I doubt they have the space.

I'd be shocked if it was us, he's not undersized so I doubt Danny likes him.

Throw him at Lebron with Milsap? Milsap was crying under the bench when he had to guard LeBron. Milsap had possibly the worst results when guarding LeBron or shall I say watching him.

That's not what I'm saying. Ideally, they would love to sign Harris, or someone to cover James, but they don't have the cap room.

Their starting lineup will likely look like:

Millsap
Korver
Horford
Teague
Hardaway Jr.

I heard that also and as far as we have heard he NEVER had a meeting with the Celtics so unless it's a sign & trade I think it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY it's the Celts.

Michael Scotto @MikeAScotto
Sources: Orlando Magic RFA Tobias Harris is open to signing a short-term deal that will allow him to hit the open market again next summer.

doesn't that kind of force Orlando's hand to do a sign and trade since he will likely leave next year anyway?

Couldn't he sign a 1 yr deal and then Orlando match it? If so, how does that force them?
