With the 76ers getting Nik Stauskas, Jason Thompson and Carl Landry.  Does this open a door more for us to get Noel?  The added two bigger contracts with Thompson and Landry, so by trading them Marcus Smart to be there starting point guard at a rookie scale, seems to make the most sense.  It would give them a serious one, two combo with the guards and having Okafor in the middle.

Boston Trade - Marcus Smart, Boston 2016 1st Round, Boston 2016 2nd, Boston 2017 2nd
For
76ers Trade - Nerlen Noel

I would offer the Nets 2016 and 17 pick and not much more.

That offer would get laughed at.  It takes real quality to get quality and that's what Noel is.

I fully expect Ainge to call up Philly.  You never know with Sam Hinkie if a deal will actually get done, but I can see this going many directions.  He may not do anything and go into this season with a lopsided roster.

He may now trade Noel, and being traded to Boston with him being a Boston kid only enhances the story.  Okafor does NOT look happy to be in Philly.  He doesn't have leverage, but it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to force his way out of there, so there's an opportunity to try and get Okafor again.

I'm assuming Ainge will make the call, but who knows if things will work out.

'17 is just a swap...

Also, Hinkie's trades are of Danny's level, you can't leave fleeced if both guys are fleecers. LOL In other words, we probably can't get a deal done between the teams unless they are trading scrap items like 2nds.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I've seen the speculation, but I really don't understand why Noel would be the one the 76ers would try to trade.  Embiid and Okafor are both pure centers - they can't play next to each other.  Noel could play PF next to one of those guys.

They're in an interesting spot.  Logic suggests that they trade Embiid or Okafor, but Embiid's injury throws a wrench in the works.

Why would the 76ers trade one of their big 3 now?  They should spend part or all of next season evaluating how well they play together and deciding which one to ship out.

Well thanks for sharing your opinion but not offering a proposal yourself.

Both those picks are likely to be top 10 picks. They're also going to be much more valuable when the pick is decided.

This is all wishful thinking. There's no reason to believe the 76ers have interest in trading any of them.

If you had 3 of the top 6 big man prospects in the league, would you be looking to trade one for some mediocre guard and middling draft picks?  I wouldn't.

Intelligent move is holding onto them until someone gives up an all-star at a different position.  Philly is stacked with quality assets right now.

So the Sixers are going to trade Nerlens Noel because they acquired two veteran bench players, one of whom has played 86 games over the last two years?
