We get a very good scoring and established point guard.

Phoenix clears cap space to go after Aldridge and get a pretty good guard themselves.

Bledsoe as our starting PG with Isaiah as the back up and then Rozier as the 3rd stringer.

And if we could get Harris and a decent center like Jordan Hill or even Robin Lopez, this would be a very good team!

Thoughts?

never. The only player I'd trade smart for is Noel.

I like Bledsoe but I like Smart's potential more.

I would.

I think Bledsoe would be our answer to Kyrie

Definitely. I love Smart but Bledsoe can actually handle the ball and pass. I really hope Smart picks up at least one of those skills in year 2.

You probably would'v'e given up on him in his rookie season and his 6.7 pts a game and 2.4 turnovers vs Smart's 7.8 pts/game and 1.3 turnovers a game. And 3 years in, he was still at 8.5 pts/game. When are we going to learn to give rookies more time?

Suns would laugh at that deal. No way they take Banks 2.0 for Bledsoe. Plus the Celtics are maxed out anyways on cap room. Nice job today Danny! Role players baby!

Of course not.  Marcus is younger and cheaper, and he's going to be better than Eric Bledsoe.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I would do it.  We need some top level players in place in order to get a FA to come here or even agree to a trade here.  Bledsoe is a good start.

No way Phx does it though.  Bledsoe can play the 2 guard spot way better than Smart can and that's what Phx needs next to Knight running point.  Also Bledsoe leaving Phx makes Aldridge less interested in joining the team.

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

I wouldn't do it. Bledsoe is a rock solid PG, don't get me wrong. But I believe in Marcus Smart. Plus, by the time we become really relevant, Bledsoe might already be past his prime.

In a heartbeat. I highly doubt Smart will be half the player Bledsoe is and he was taken at the 18th overall pick. He was also a freshman coming out of college and played second fiddle to Wall so there was at least a reason for him being a little raw coming out of college. Smart had two whole years with his own team and then got more minutes in his rookie season and he still couldn't put up better stats.
