We have 12 players guaranteed. Probably more if Mickey is going to make the roster and we are resigning Crowder.  Trades are going to be made.

How is 12-14 players too many? 15 is the limit, and you can dress 13 at a time.

Oh my bad. I forgot they changed it to 13.  15 is the limit so we are fine.

thornton is going to be a stash though unless something happens. Crowder or Mickey for the 13th spot and players in the d-league.

I'm assuming Ainge isn't done here though.

Crowder HAS to come back .....he is our glue guy . Doesn't fad in the face of team being behind with a minute left.   The dude is 100% all in every play .  Never doubts a victory can be won.

Mickey is D league bound

Mickey and Hunter will spend time in the D league opposed to the active roster, so we're fine.  We're stockpiling assets and good players on not terrible contracts which can be easily movable.  I'm not super psyched, but I'm ok with what we're doing.

I think our roster looks pretty good. We have a good mix.   I want to build with Marcus and not trade everyone so I'm different that way though.

I think if anything we've improved our  3  point shooting and interior defense a bit.  Rozier also i have  high hopes for and  really think he is going to attack the basket from the get go.

I just suggested on another thread: trading Sully, Turner, and Wallace to Orlando for Tobias Harris.

This clears a log jam for the Celtics, adds a good player in Harris who bring balance to the roster.

Orlando does not have to lose Harris for nothing.  They get Sully who they can start along side Vucevic.  They also get Turner who is a solid player.  We could also throw in a couple 2016 2nd rounders as we currently have four of them.

We would then have the following roster.

IT Rozier
Smart Bradley Hunter
Harris Crowder Young
Olynyk Jerekbo Mickey
AJ Zeller

What do people think?  Triboy mentioned in the other thread that we may not be able to do a sign and trade in that fashion, but I'm not aware of that.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

No, you missed him.  He's my starting center.  I used his initials.
