Don't care about Rondo anymore. He really disappointed me, and made me angry at how unprofessional he was about BOS/DAL situations...

He deserves no less than 7 mil. Hes still a starting PG, but whether or not he can show his consistency is another question.

I think he gets 10 million easy, a high profile player like Rondo will sell tickets, jerseys, and generate some buzz for a small market team.

We just signed Amir Johnson for 12 million, so Rondo will at least that imo.

Wasn't there a point where we could have traded him Ben McLemore and 2014 #8 pick, but Rondo made it known he would refuse to re-sign with the Kings?  He also was asking for 100 mil from the Celtics.

Now he's taking 10 mil from the Kings?

yea, I supported Rondo a lot during his time in Boston. I was actually pretty disappointed at his short stint with the Mavs. Didn't like the publicity he was getting for butting heads with rick carlisle. Being shut down for the playoffs because of an "injury" was embarrassing. Not sure if he is still in a position to "demand" money from anyone

a focussed Rondo is worth well over that amount.  problem for Rondo is that his behavior in Dallas calls that focus and dedication to winning into question.  hope wherever he signs he plays like (Boston) playoff Rondo for the full season

Ha!  I don't think so.  Considering how he played last year and how his season ended, no.... but this is Sacramento... so.... who knows. 

Maybe he will volunteer to not play any defense and Vivek will be sold on him.

Talk of trading Rondo for McLemore and a pick was generally met with comments like you're crazy or fifty cents on the dollar....

I also commented that Rondo was taking a big risk not taking the 3 year at $14M or so extension and I got a whole lot of grief for that too.

If Rondo ends up on SAC at any $$$ it is kind of a slap in the face after he sabotaged the rumored SAC trade because he was too good for such a lowly franchise.

We never could have acquired a 2014 pick, as the Kings have a protected one that's been owed through 2017 for years.  They haven't given it up ever because it's either top 10 or 12 protected (I forget which.)  That rumor would have meant a pick swap at best if we were to have gotten their 2014 1st.
