PP just signed with LAC, meaning Jordan is going back there..

Now most big free agents are gone, lost chandler and ellis ,looks like Dallas is stuck outside of the playoffs.

BUT

They might do the smart thing and tank because the pick is top 7 protected .

Maybe even trade dirk for more assets?

We should see in Parsons can be had for a decent package

Bradley, Turner, and Sullinger for Parsons.  Think they go for it?

I would if I was them but I don't want to make that trade.  Don't believe Parsons is anything special.  Don't see him getting any better.  This year he looked like a guy who has reached his peak.

Best news of the day. Hopefully they will give us a lottery pick.

I'd hate to see (1) Dirk traded from Dallas (2) Dirk finish his career on a lottery team.

Sure, but I could say the same for Bradley and Turner, and Sullinger may never reach his peak due to weight concerns.

Parsons might not be super exciting, but trading those three guys for him would add a player at a position of need while clearing up some space at positions of redundancy.

Dallas should make a harder push for Greg Monroe.

I like the potential of the Dallas pick more than the Brooklyn picks, personally.

Brooklyn should be a playoff team.  I could see Dallas missing the playoffs.

Dallas will sign enough decent players to have a serviceable record despite being in the West. Celtics pick via Dallas will still be around 20 in next year's draft.

Same here. Dallas looks vulnerable. Brooklyn are solidifying themselves nicely.

This is outstanding news. Should be a late lottery pick.

Dirk ain't getting any younger.

Yeah, if they miss out on DJ and Chandler that makes sense.

Hope Monroe doesn't choose them.  At this point I'd like to see him go to Milwaukee.  That would be interesting.

Probably Dallas will sign Robin Lopez and add a few middle of the road guys and try to just make the playoffs again.  Not looking like Dirk is going to get to contend again before he retires.

How does this work? If the pick is top 7 protected and they land in the top 7, what do we get? A future pick?

Edit: nevermind, found the breakdown online.
