Poll: Will Stevens win a title with the Celtics

I think he wants to build this thing from the ground up so the question is do you think he sticks it out here or is he a quitter bolting kind of guy.
 The only thing that runs him out of town would be his frustration with Ainge. Their relationship will be there key IMO.

 I believe Stevens could be here for 20 years if he wins a title within the next 5 to 6 years.

I voted for option 3. As of right now it's not happening until his next contract. I won't blame him if he bolts for a great college job soon tho. C's are in flux.

More interesting question -- Will Stevens ever coach the Celtics to at least 50 wins?

Oh come in 50 wins if not this year than next for sure. Titles will be difficult, but this guy will win 50 games multiple times with the Celtics.

Titles are hard to come by.  Insert any person in the title and I vote no.

I truly believe Stevens will win a title with us and I really believe him to be a great coach. Just by the constant gutting of the team and the talent he was presented with.

First season as a rookie coach he has everyone playing hard with much much much less talent
second season, took a slightly improved squad, also with constant gutting of the team to the playoffs. We got swept but it was hard fought

I honestly think that if you give him more talent, he will maximize their talent. Each slight improvement you give him, he'll give you something back.

If we can somehow get him one star player, I believe it'll be a fun season to watch.

That was sort of my thinking, not that he does a bad job, but it is hard as hell to win a NBA title and Boston currently has no one you could realistically say is a main cog of a title team, thus it will be some time before Boston is a real contender and I just don't think Stevens is going to be here that long.  I don't think he will run back to college or be a quitter and I'm not sure he will be fired per se, but I just think he ends up leaving before Boston wins a title.

He doesn't know how to tank for star talent and he can't recruit......what good is he?
