Looks like the Celtics and Bucks have a little interest in Kanter. I not sure of this source https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA
but I like the idea of going after Kanter more than Davis or Lopez.

I don't see Kanter leaving OKC and even if he did feel like it would probably be a bad move to pay him what his post trade deadline production would dictate.

Unless that is, we look at the Thunder roster and think if he played that well off Russell Westbrook maybe he'd do well with our athletic combo guards. He'd probably walk on to the team as our physically strongest player.

If we pay Kanter max money then I will have a massive problem.

Why do you care?

It's not your money?

I'd be thrilled to get a center like Kanter.

Kanter is trash. He scores in the post, but is one of the worst defenders in the whole league. Worse yet is he is by all accounts a jackass. After he was traded to OKC, the Jazz delighted in torching him the next time they played. This is what Trevor Booker said about Kanter afterward:
Quote
He did what he always does: he got his stats, he didn’t defend, he took an L.

You don't usually hear that kind shade about former teammates unless they are the worst. I want nothing to do with him.
