I really hope we can sign him this year. You can tell he's starting to scratch the surface of his potential. He wouldn't cost a ton which is nice.

How many Biyombo threads are we going to have?

Are you LarBrd33's clone? ;)

Would you like to go after him as a last resort?

I do like him, cause of his wingspan and standing reach. I'm just worried that his wingspan may be beneficial, but his height will definitely be hindered when trying to post and guard big men.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

There have been a few. But my comment was in jest. Sorry abt that. Don't want to derail your thread with a silly post.  :)

Honestly, I wasn't even thinking about it as a last resort. My dream would be to have Love at the 4 (I know he's most likely signing with the Cavs) and Biyombo at the 5.

Pick up Biyombo, Al-Farouq Aminu, and Withey or Ajinca and just try to smother teams to death with arms and defense.

Dude, the aim is to make it a six digit number.

Then we will celebrate drinking white Russian on a carpet. And after that we go bowling.

He sure does.

Thing is Danny is probably not interested. I posted a relevant tweet in thread somewhere here but I can no longer find it (the thread that it is).

Anyway, after some search in Twitter, here you go...

I'd love to see Biyombo in the C's.

But after this draft day I do not take claims of foreknowledge of Danny's actions very seriously.

Bismack biyombo isn't exactly the type of player you need to declare your public interest in.  If I'm the Celtics, the last thing I want to do is draw attention the the defensive rim protector I want to pick up on the cheap.  Approach him tomorrow... offer him a couple mil... hope that nobody else approaches him.  Profit.

A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

Again, if I'm Boston, I don't really see the benefit in telling the media that I have interest in Bismack Biyombo.   We have a contract to negotiate...  you don't walk onto a used car lot and start crying with joy at what you see... you play it sly.

Boston, I hope, has far bigger targets tomorrow than Bismack Biyombo.  Call Love.  Call Aldridge.  Call Gasol.  Call Middleton.  Call Harris.  While you're at it, do your due dilligence and call leBron James.   Even call Brook Lopez, because there's some benefit of robbing the Nets of their best player... but after all of those players turn you do, get Big Smack on the line and offer him a cheap contract before anyone else does.
