but they can't develop all 3. by the time they figure out what they have in one of them, itll be time to decide whether or not to pay him a big extension or let him move on. ESPECIALLY considering the fact that their big men seem to miss, at minimum so far, one season on their rookie deal per player.
i get the intrigue, and i get the idea that this is still a big man league (it is but not like it was, but that's a different argument for a different day) but all the talent in the world means very little if you don't do the other little things right, and that's where the culture of losing, leadership, front office vision, etc i talk about comes into play.
don't forget, the Atlanta Hawks had a team full of lottery/top 5 talent too and ya they were a playoff team, but they were 1 and done evvvvvvvery year. it takes more than just high draft picks to win in this league. much more. the nba is not 2k15.
