That said, I think there might be more Biyombo interest on Twitter than in real NBA. 1 team mentioned often --BOS-- not super interested yet.

Hope it stays that way.

But what about that amazing wingspan he has? (lol)

Wait that can't be right....another Michael Jordan draft pick about to be out of the league a few years after he's drafted? Is that a record?

Lol. Watch Frank Kaminsky be the next one!

I'm not going to rehash all the stuff I've said about Biyombo in previous threads...

lol

That was my version of this:

Yeah I guess I'm lucky in that most of my NBA binkies don't ever seem to come up in "headed to the Celtics" conversations or I would do the same thing.

6'9" center?? I dunno...
remember, those players dont rebound with the tops of their heads.  ;D

biyombo's standing reach is 9' 3".

for comparison, zeller's standing reach is 8' 8.5".

the average standing reach for a center in the nba is 9' 1.2". biyombo is fine.
a question for the board. by ufa here, does that mean charlotte can, or cannot, match other teams offers to him?

Too funny.  Had to laugh at the visual of the NBA with that restriction to only use the top of their heads.
i like it, i like it. change the rules so that in the nba you can only score by using your head. a bit like soccer.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Lowe:  C's aren't interested....... yet

So basically the same thing sspence mentioned months ago... Look for Boston to make a play for Biyombo if/when they strike out on the bigger name bigs.

With everything that has happened in FA in last 1 1/2 days.....could we still sign Biyombo to a cheap deal.  Something like: 3mil/4 years?

He's only 22 and turns 23 in 2months. For 3 million a year I think he would be worth it and has to get better offensively at some point......not a lot but just enough to raise his value.

It was sarcasm, probably a bad attempt. But I do believe he can get better on the offensive end, to what point, idk.

I don't see a need / purpose for Biyombo with Amir Johnson on board.

Amir and T.Zeller are going to eat up most of the center minutes. Biyombo needs minutes to develop. Not a good match for player or team.

Charlotte did not extend him a qualifying offer, so he's unrestricted.  Could be a cheap option at center if nothing else works out.
This is awesome news.   I love Biyombo.  I would love to have him in Boston.

If we've learned anything this Summer... it's that Charlotte is out of their freakin mind.

My only concern with Biyombo is that we'd have to overpay him a bit to prevent the Hornets from matching.    Now, I have to assume we can snatch up Biyombo for a reasonable 3-5 mil per year.   Great buy low candidate.  Do it!

Good he can live with you when he is unemployed .

No thanks.

We drafted Rozier when we already have Smart. We signed Jerebko when we already have Olynyk. My point: this roster is hardly set.  S-I-G-N   H-I-M.

Sign Him.  Then gives us flexibility if we want to trade KO or Zeller in a trade to sweeten a trade.
