Here goes- Please follow the same format i.e keep the teams in order, who do you think goes where.

My predictions

Wes Matthews and Tobias Harris- we do this by trading Bradley and/or Wallace's contract

New York-

Lakers

After striking out with the marquee big men they sign Tyson Chandler

Detriot

Jackson re-signs,

Miluakee

I have us trading Bradley and Turner. FA pick ups with be Leonard, LMA, and DJ. Totally possible. In all seriousness landing Harris and Asik would be great.

I think Minnesota and Phoenix are our best partners in free agency by virtue of their willingness to part with a certain number of their players like Bledsoe and Bennett. I also think that the Timberwolves with the recent drafting of Towns could make available Pekovic or Dieng if there are no takers for Bennett. So why not trade with them since we are quite friendly with their management (Flip Saunders). It just makes sense, if I may say so myself.

Think about a trade for Dieng which includes Bennett as the toll. Maybe a scene like this:

Minnesota:

Gorgui Dieng (PF/C)
A. Bennett (SF/PF)
Kevin Martin (SG)

Boston:

K. Olynyk (PF/C)
James Young (SG)
A. Bradley (PG/SG)

What's in it for Boston:

1. We get a young and talented rim protector who can rebound in Dieng.
2. We get a quality shooter in Kevin Martin who though injury prone, averaged 20ppg last season.
3. We get a former number 1 draft pick in Bennett who has been a letdown so far in his young career but could be salvaged in the proper environment.

What we lose and Minnesota gains:

1. One of the better defenders in the league in Avery Bradley who not only can defend but put the ball in the hole as well averaging 14ppg this past season.
2. A very young prospect in James Young who may develop and mature into a Michael Redd type of player.
3. A stretch forward with guard skills in Olynyk who is in his 3rd year in the NBA and averaged 10ppg along with 5rpg last season.

Why we do it:

1. Dieng plainly fills our needs in terms of rim protection and rebounding. Averaged about 10ppg along with 8rpg 1.7bpg and 1.0spg last season and can shoot FT's.
2. Sending AB and Young to Minnesota let's us wiggle our way a bit from our Guard logjam.
3. Martin and Bennett are not necessary throwaways. Martin can produce and IF he stays relatively healthy, may be a big boon to the team.

Why they do it:

1. Bennett's salary and position in the team is redundant. They can really do without him and has so far been a bust.
2. With the arrival of Towns, Dieng may not be as necessary to them and could be better suited having Olynyk, who can shoot from the outside and make plays.
3. Replacing an aging shooter in Martin with a combo guard of Bradley's defensive pedigree could be the missing factor they need in their guard rotation.

Overall, I see very little movement, owing to the impending cap increase.

Gasol - Memphis
LMA - San Antonio
Monroe - LAL
DJ - LAC
Ellis - New York
Harris - Orlando
Butler - Chicago
Middleton - Milwaukee
Matthews - Portland
Kawhi - San Antonio
JR Smith - Cleveland
Danny Green - Portland
Carroll - Atlanta
Draymond - Golden State
Kanter - OKC
Waiters - OKC
B. Lopez - Brooklyn
T. Young - Brooklyn
R. Lopez - New York
West - New York
Chandler - Dallas
Dragic - Miami
Wade - Miami
Lebron - Cleveland
Millsap - Atlanta
Rondo - Sacramento
Koufos - Boston
Asik - New Orleans
Biyombo - Charlotte
Jackson - Detroit
Mo Williams - Cleveland

A serious question.  If we're looking to resign Jae Crowder who is a small forward, but can play some shooting guard.  Why would you say we sign Wes Matthews and Tobias Harris who are both small forwards, when we need another big and rim protector?

Revisiting this thread makes for interesting reading.

No one saw Monroe to the Bucks, Robin Lopez to New York or Wes Matthews to Dallas

It has been a pretty exciting free agency.

Aldridge has yet to decide as well
