$3 million fine sounds cheap to move a player with serious injuries. I don't think that will stop teams from continuing to do this.
Exactly, and even a first rounder is not enough for most of the cases.It should be debate and penalize higher than the value given to the opposite team.No way Danny would have accepted trading Perk for a heart damaged Green + 1 pick.

If a player truly was damaged goods, and then sustained a related injury, $3 million doesn't come close to compensating them fairly.
