yeah, given the jump in the cap, the thing I worry about is if a team (dallas) comes in and offers him $7-8 mill, which seems pretty steep to me. Im fine with $15 for 3 yrs or $18-20 for 4 yrs...

i dont know if im undervaluing him or the rest of you are overvaluing him, but i dont expect him to get more then the tax payer mid level which iirc is ~$3.5 million.

Crowder is definitely worth keeping. He's still super young and seems to get better every year. The perfect 7th man behind IT.

It's not a question of what we think Crowder is worth, it's a question of how we predict teams will throw around money, whether wisely or unwisely.

If we sign Harris, how much time is he really going to get? His number would have to be pretty reasonable to make it worthwhile for us. We still also have Turner depending upon what position you think he plays.

I think Harris can play the 4 in today's NBA maybe crowder for limited minutes too

Crowder is definitely going to get offers of 5-7 million at least.

Dallas, Pistons, and Bucks have reportedly have sound interest in him.

Jae Crowder has received Celtics' qualifying offer. He's officially restricted.

So, it's official now.

5 million Danny will match. Not at 7. Dallas prob wants one of their assets back for the Rondo trade

Good point, especially if our 5 is a rim defender that we sign or trade for. I still don't want to spend too much of our precious cap space on him, though.

Boston and Dallas are leaders so far in pursuit of free agent forward Jae Crowder, league sources tell RealGM. Mavs dealt him last season.

Looks like Dallas is bitter that we fleeced them for Rondo and now they want to drive the price up. I don't see us letting him walk.

The Mavs have to save money to throw at all the big name free agents. Hard to see them giving a lucrative offer sheet to Crowder, at least at the start of free agency.

how about a sign and trade if it's at 7 or above...you know, continue robbing the Mavs ;)
