Suns have been dangling him all around before the draft to move up, but most of these teams besides maybe Philly and New York don't even need a point guard at the moment for a glaring need. I think Bledsoe can be had for a relatively cheap price and considering he is still only 25 and statistically a very good player I think we should jump at these chances. I say we send Smart, Sullinger, and 33 for Eric Bledsoe. Use 16, 28, and 45 to move him up to grab Stanley Johnson. Move Kelly Olynyk to the 4 and have Zeller play out his contract at C.

PG: Eric Bledsoe
SG: Avery Bradley
SF: Stanley Johnson
PF: Kelly Olynyk
C: Tyler Zeller

We can then address the frontcourt with either FA and draft with Dallas', Brooklyn's pick, and our pick in 2016. Can extend Bledsoe for another 3 years and we will be back in business.

That is a ridiculous overpay for a player we don't need.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

You don't have the slightest idea what a "ridiculous overpay" is if you consider that to be one.

Right now, I'm pretty happy with the potential of our 4 man rotation at guard of IT, Smart, Bradley, and Young (Turner for some minutes too maybe). I'm only breaking that up if we have to move one or more to acquire a star or potential star. I would never include Smart in a Bledsoe trade.

If you are trading Smart, Wallace would have to be included...and no Sullinger. We may need to add #28 or #33, but that would be about it. I agree with Max that it is an overpay, but I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Bledsoe aboard - he is a very good player.

Still, I am hoping more for Noel (and apparently #3) for Smart and our picks this year. That deal sounds WAAAAYYY more awesome!

Does Bledsoe have long term health issues?

I don't think so, but I think Boston (still) has to improve the frontcourt before we think about the gains from Smart/Bradley->Bledsoe + change.

Sign me up, 25 years old, top 3 point guard in East if he moved over.

Bold statement.

Can you list your top 7,say, assuming he did?

Wall
Irving
Bledsoe
Dragic assuming he stays with Heat
Teague
Lowry
Jackson
Rose with sustained health could move up to 3-4

I like Bledsoe but I don't believe he's automatically the third best pg in the East. After Wall and Irving I would slot Bledsoe into that second tier of point guards (Dragic, Teague, Lowry) that are all pretty even.

Yup, in a heartbeat.

Bledsoe is a very, very good player and would rival Kyrie if we ever expect to compete with the Cavs.

I would even deal Smart to get him.

Makes one of us. Turner sucks and Bradley & Young are inconsistent.

Would not fit with smart TBH. Doesn't really fit on this team altogether. Wouldn't make / do anything significant for him. He is a good player though.
