Jay King from MassLive tweeted the following:

"IT wouldn't give names of FAs he wants to recruit, but said of big guys, he'd like to bring two from the West to the East. LMA/Gasol?"

If he pulls that off, heck, let him start - he's earned it.

We are in alignment my frinds! I want Stanley badly; have a weird feeling about him being "the guy".

On a separate note: I read this report about IT on hoopshype this morning (new font is nearly unreadable there btw), and it got me thinking, will Boston fans be p---ed at Isaiah if he doesn't pull through with his "recruitment"? After Wyc's fireworks comment last summer a lot of us got burned out waiting for the magic. I personally won't be upset if he comes up empty, but I can see his image take a blow if he can't recruit anyone after all the posturing.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

I think IT is fast becoming the most un-tradeable guy we have not named Marcus Smart. This dude loves playing here, and he really wants to be a part of the next winner we have. I think he's really calling everyone he knows in the league and trying to get them to play here. This is great for us, it shows were building the right kind of culture and mindset necessary to be a great team

I've always heard IT is one of the most popular guys in the league among the other players. I think Ainge recognizes that, as well as his enthusiasm and desire to win, and sees a chance to use him in bringing in a top-tier FA. Him and Love have been close friends for years.

If Thomas has a hand in bringing a major piece to Boston, I think the whole Playoffs vs tanking debate should never be discussed again.

I think Danny would for landing Isaiah for a late 1st in 2016 and Thornton's expiring contract.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

If IT talked LMA and Gasol into coming to Boston, forget starting... retire his number while he is still playing and I'll move to Boston to start chiseling out his statue.
