Like a lot of you, I followed the kid since he was drafted.  We got him too young, immature, and Doc clearly lost patience with him pretty fast. Still, after much work, he emerged as a very good scorer for Phoenix, particularly from 3 point land.  Two seasons ago while averaging nearly 16 ppg, his 3 point shooting percentage was 40%, and last year, while his scoring average dropped to about 12 per game, that is pretty efficient given 19.5 minutes of playing time.

Hopefully his defense has improved; it was awful here early on.

Any takers? What would it cost to sign him? I believe he is an UFA.

I wouldn't be against it, if we get him I'll see it like a ET project. Low risk high potential.

He always had a nice stroke and high release. He is stronger now by a lot, which helps on defense.

For a team needing scoring like crazy, he would be a good player to have around.

Cheap, of course.

His defense is still fairly awful.

It was the amazing the difference between the Suns starting lineup (really good team defense) and when they started bringing their bench in (painfully bad -- one of the worst defensive teams in the league). Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green were the main offenders. They killed the Suns perimeter defense. The Suns defense fell apart when those two guys were on the floor together.

1. yes.
2. so?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I was getting ready to try and prove you wrong and I proved you right Who!!:-))  Gerald's defense on ESPN's Real Plus/Minus had him ranked 94th out of 101 guards!!!

If he wasn't 29 I'd say go for it, but I think there are better venues to explore.
