 This lineup has strong defense from stein and smart. wes mathews is known for being a good defender as well as lamarcus aldrige. The only bad defender is tobias harris who's is known for being a so-so defender.

we would get great scoring out of lamarcus aldrige, wes mathews and tobias harris.
tobias harris is especially known for scoring in the fourth quarter which has been the celtics weakest point on offense.
 
While we should try and resign crowder as apart of our bench.
keep Isaiah Thomas as our 6th man.

we would then trade away sully,avery bradley and wallace


we send wallace and the number 28 pick in this draft to philly dumping his ten million dollar contract

 send avery to utah for the number 12 pick
combine the number 12 pick and sully for sacramento's number 6 pick.

We draft willy cauley stein.

Then we go to aldrige and offer him the max. Say to him look you can go to dallas  and play with  old dirk where you will have to play center which you don't like. you will never be the leader or the team captain because that is dirk's team. you can fight in the west and most likely  lose and never get a ring that you want and deserve. Or you can come to the celtics come to the east conference. automatically be in the playoffs just by your presence. be the captain and our leader.  we have the money and room for wes mathews to come play with you. have  young defensive guys like smart and willy cover the defensive end not hog the ball and do the hustling. where we have a very strong bench lead but the lovable isaiah thomas who is here to stay for 3 more years at least. we have a young strong coach who  is loved by his players and wants a solid veteran like yourself. We also have a pile of draft picks for support. We also have one of the oldest  franchises  known for winning. Listen to the millions of boston fans cheering  your name lamarcus. So lamarcus I have one question for you are you ready to win?


If he agrees with I think we have a shot at wes mathews to come and start with lamarcus and win. I say we offer wes mathews about 11 million a year. then go after tobias harris at 13 million. tell him he can start and be a star.

This plan all rests on lamarcus aldrige saying yes. If he says yes I think this plan can be very realistic. however even if he says no we would have willy caulk stein and have gotten rid of  wall aces contract which is not bad at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love the line-up, but would shedding Wallace and Bradley free up enough salary to sign Aldridge, Matthews, and Harris while hanging on to Crowder?

But these things aren't ridiculous and are at least based in reality. There have been reports of Orl letting Harris go, reports of #12 for Bradley, and reports of Sacramento wanting to compete now. They could do this by acquiring a talented PF like Sully to pair with Cousins while not losing much on their draft pick.
