The 1999 Knicks were the worst and basically tied by the 2007 Cavs.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Interesting read up.
I am not nick picking on the article but Larry Johnson was not the Knicks best player, Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell were far superior players for the Knicks in 1999.
Same goes for Laimbeer, stats aside there is no way that he was the best player for the Pistons in 1990, Thomas and Dumars were far more important to Detroits success than he was.

Yeah, but whatever methodology they used had LJ as the team's best player.

The other thing that was interesting was the dramatic drop off of the Heat during the 4 years.  They went from one of the better supporting casts to one of the worse supporting casts.

Confirms what I've said recently around here, which is that this Cavs team is right there on par with the 2007 version.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

That is the main reason he got out of there ha ha
I wonder how the  -0.1 would look if Irving and Love played all the playoff games?

Exactly. Although I do hope that the Cavaliers do another bang up job of making sure LeBron can't get the help he needs in the future.

Dave Blatt isn't getting nearly enough credit for Cleveland's success.  He's one of the better coaches in the league.  That and LeBron being LeBron are the reasons this team has done as well as it has.

But this is EXACTLY the type of team around which lebron thrives

Just like his old days in cleveland

Role players who are good at one thing so lebron can dominate the ball

Good shooters, great rebounders, and good defense.

Not saying other stars would thrive in this scenario, but it's right up lebron's alley
I trust Danny Ainge
