Maybe I am missing something but I am not sure these drafts prove what you are trying to say.

Of the draft classes listed, I would say that 2011 definitely has the most impressive post-lottery picks:

Which of these two teams would you take?

Reggie Jackson/Cory Joseph
Jimmy Butler/Iman Shumpert
Kawhi Leonard/Tobias Harris
Kenneth Faried/Nikola Mirotic
Nikola Vucevic/Donatas Motiejunas

vs.

Kyrie Irving/Brandon Knight
Klay Thompson/Alec Burks
Marcus Morris/Derrick Williams
Markieff Morris/Tristan Thompson
Jonas Valanciunas/Enes Kanter

That would be a fairly good battle, in my opinion, between the 2011 lottery picks vs. the 2011 rest of the first rounders.

My prediction:

Non Lotteries in six.

I'd take the lottos in 7. Also I think I'd like to add Kemba Walker to the lottos please. Probably at the expense of maybe B Knight

Yup that's pretty interesting.  The non-lottery picks definitely take down the lottery picks.  Leonard Butler and Faried?  Tobias Harris off the bench at 2 positions?  Basically they would completely shut down that lottery team.

I think you could add Chandler Parsons to the non-lotto team if you felt like it.  Wasn't he 2011 somewhere in the second round.

'08 would be a good battle as well:

Derrick Rose/DJ Augustin
Russell Westbrook/Eric Gordon
Danilo Galinari/OJ Mayo
Kevin Love /Michael Beasley
Brook Lopez/Jason Thompson

vs.

George Hill/Mario Chalmers
Goran Dragic/Courtney Lee
Nicolas Batum/Ryan Anderson
Serge Ibaka/Mo Speights
Deandre Jordan/Roy Hibbert

O.K., so I threw in a couple of second rounders for the non-lotteries.

Gotta give the edge to the lotteries in this one based on the star power of Rose, Westbrook, and Love.  The non-lotteries are definitely tougher up front and much deeper, though.  They'd give them a good battle.

This one is lotteries in seven.
