I somehow don't see Davis going the Monroe route, and leaving a crapload of money in the table and risking injury.

Restricted Free Agency will keep Davis in New Orleans for a while yet.

Wow. I SERIOUSLY misread this title.

Like:

"Thibs has no interest in coaching. Period. NO!"

And I thought Davis was some coach I should have known about but am too ignorant.

Shouldn't AD be eligible for the DRose contract extension from the pelicans? If he is I don't see him leaving in any condition for that kind of money.
