Alex Kennedy from basketball insiders is reporting that his sources in the league suspect Payne already has a promise from a team and there is a good chance its in the lottery.

Seems to me Indy or maybe OKC would be the logical teams to make this promise
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

I going to guess Phoenix.

Not a lot of talent that suits their needs in that #13 slot. Need for a PG after losing Dragic, I.Thomas and T.Ennis last season.

OKC I could see. Indy has better options at 11 and they still have George Hill who came back strong after an injury.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

OKC does have a history of draft promises.

Phoenix still has Bledsoe, Knight, and Archie Goodwin.  They should probably get off their PG fix.

The more point guards that are selected before we pick the better. I agree Indy and OKC seem like the most likely promises.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

What's a good way to get out of jury duty? Also, what do you think the Thunder will with their picks? Thank you.

Don't get out of jury duty. It's awesome. Trust me, if you were ever a defendant, you want the type of people on the jury that feel their too busy to actually be on a jury. As for the Thunder, since late last week there's been a lot of buzz among rival GMs that the Thunder promised Cameron Payne they'd take him at 14. I don't know how much of that is smoke, but he is a great fit at 14 and talent wise he may be the best pure point guard in the draft.

doesn't hurt the C's at all.  would like to hear more promises to players we're not interested in

that's a real reach. I'd take Jerian Grant all day over Payne.
