I know this seems pretty much impossible, but wouldn't it be awesome if it wasn't?

Props to Mark Wahlberg for at least legitimately trying to recruit some talent for the celtics. I wish more boston area celebs would do the same.

Per various NFL sources, Brady has commented 'Meh'.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Would love Jimmy Butler on here. He's the perfect example of a Celtic.

Add him, and try to bring in Kevin Love, and I think we're a contender. All we need is a Center that can defend and protect the rim.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I suppose two all-stars and a DeAndre Jordan type center would make us a contender  ;)

As for Donnie courting Butler - that's awesome! Keep it up 2nd favorite member of NKOTB!

With things going south with Thibs in Chicago, and with Thibs going South or West (I hope not), you never know.

I have a Golden Eagle dream for the 2-3 rotation: Matthews/Butler/Crowder.

Lots of variables and unlikely, but plausible.

It goes without saying that they're meeting to discuss making Jimmy Butlers life story into a Blindside style movie, right?
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

What are some other notable celebs that are Celtics fans? Really don't recall much other than Mark.

Stephen Tyler, maybe? I saw him watching on the courtside during 2008 finals.

@Denis998

Matt Damon, Conan O’Brien and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones I can think of now.

I'm sure much more will pop out once we get championship caliber again.

Nice work Mark, he's definitely is a good representation of the Boston people. Also worth noting that Jimmy Butler want's to become more of a household name and between Entourage and Wahlburgers, Markey Mark isn't exactly a bad contact to have.
