Hoopshype has them at around $78 going into next season with Draymond Green an UFA. What do?

I would give Draymond Green the max and if the owner forces me to go below the luxury tax I would trade David Lee and a first to a team with cap space such as Philadelphia.

Could just stretch Lee too. Spread that contract out over the next three years.

But Lee's not a scrub. I still think a trade for Gerald Wallace would help both teams. GSW could then stretch Wallace, at a smaller cap hit.

Trade AI and the 30th pick to C's or 76ers for a TPE and a mid second rounder.

I would trade Stephen Curry for Gerald Wallace and then rip off my shirt revealing my Celtics jersey and let out an evil laugh.

Lee is a very good player who is not needed/used in GS. Sure he's overpaid, but with the cap going up, I can see a number of teams who would trade for him. It is GS's best option to clear cap space and keep Draymond Green, Thompson, Curry, Barnes, and Bogut.

Keep the group together, try to find a taker for Lee, give up a pick if necessary.

Cap is gonna jump a ton in the next couple of years so no need to panic w/ regard to Barnes or Draymond.

Well they are getting rid of Lee this summer. That's like the worst kept secret in the NBA. They are keeping Draymond Green at all costs, and they know they can do that without exceeding the cap if they dump Lee. Lee's still a good player who just doesn't fit on the Warriors anymore and they really have no need for him. Someone will take him off their hands. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics give them a call in case the pursuit for Kevin Love fails. Lee's a good plan B. What works out for the Warriors is that Lee's contract expires next year so it won't be that difficult to move. I also wouldn't be surprised if Philly takes him.

After that they probably have to consider moving Iggy next, but that probably won't happen until next year when Barnes is due for a new contract. Iggy might be a little harder because he's still a very useful player but is clearly not what he was back in his Sixer days. Ironically, I could see Philly taking him too.

The Warriors will be a force to be reckoned with for the next few years. I do wonder what they're going to do when Andrew Bogut breaks down for good. His skillset isn't as replaceable as Lee of Iggy.

START wondering what went wrong after they lose to Cleveland in the NBA finals.

If that happens, there will be no need to wonder.  It will be because Stephen Curry goes down with a season ending injury.

This is the best answer yet.  But make sure to call yourself Mr. Rellabelkcunk so they won't catch on til it's too late.

...serious answer, you absolutely keep Green.  He's their 2nd most important player at this point - yes more than Klay - and he wants to stay.  Pay him, and sort out the other considerations secondarily.

The Celtics have an overload at the 4 as it is. Plus, I bet the Warriors could find a team, with space, to just absorb Lee outright for a 2nd rounder. Why waste any money?
