Look at this workout!!:
http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Rondae-Hollis-Jefferson-Workout-Video-and-Interview-5005

His shot is looking a lot better and if it just took him a couple of pre-draft workouts to make drastic improvement on his jumper, imagine how much improvement he could make with 2 NBA offseasons??

Really like Rodnae Hollis-Jefferson and if he shoots like this then I wouldn't be opposed to drafting him at 16.

What do you guys think???

I was more impressed with R H-J than I was with Stanley Johnson.

I'd be happy if we got R H-J 16th if we are unable to trade into a better pick.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Me, too - even when he seemed off, he was still having a positive effect on the game. If we can get a MKG caliber player at #16, I am all for it - much better than trading up for Johnson.

I like RHJ a lot. He will be, at a minimum, a standout on defense.

If his jumper is fixed, he will be special.

He seems like a great player, wouldn't mind having him at 16, even better at 28. Id prefer him over some players that are projected to be at #16. I just love his energy, seems like a good team player that is willing to put in 100% in practice let alone the games.

I like both Johnson and RHJ as prospects but their jump shots are miles apart.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

To me, taking a poor shooting perimeter player would be a worst case scenario for our draft.  If we don't get one of the potentially elite 3s at the top of the draft, I don't see the point in taking a 3 at all.

Aaron Gordon's jump shot looked fixed during last year's combine, too. So did Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's earlier this year.

Me three.  It's nice to draft someone knowing you won't regret it.  At least that's how I feel about this guy.  Trade up from 28 is great, but if he's taken at 16 that tells me Brad and Danny think he's BPA.

I don't blame Rondae and his people for making a video that attempts to make it look like he can shoot.

Despite their best efforts, that shot still looks busted.

Yeah. Even to my untrained eye, there's a hitch.

But then MKG's hitch got fixed and that was horrific.

I don't know if Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's hitch got fixed or not, but I do know that so far he's shot .167 from three point range over the course of his NBA career.

Apparently his mid range is a lot better. Apparently.

perhaps the OP should have continued reading the draft express analysis of RHJ. here is what appears later on, dated april 1, 2015:

...(H)e isn't much of a jump shooter, as his inconsistent form prevents him from being reliable from any kind of range at this point in his career. He made just six of 29 three point attempts this season (20.7%), the lowest among small forwards in our top-100 rankings and just 36.3% of all jump shots....

color me doubtful that he could have fixed his jumpshot since april 1st. he is a great defender though.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Actually I do know how bad of a shooter he was in college and that's why I was surprised at how many shots he was hitting in a row, albeit in practice. Also you can tell they're in a row because it would be edited a lot more like Sam Dekker's if you guys have seen that on Cityleaguetv's channel.
