What would be your dream scenario if we could add any 2 big men, but thats it, we'd match any offer on Crowder, let Gigi, Jerebko and Bass walk and use picks to make Wallace go away. Who would you pick?
Cousins and Aldridge
Other acceptable answers include cousins and literally any one else including my 9 year old nephew

But if you factor in the cost to get DMC (and this is only IF he were to be put on the block) compared to signing Jordan or Gasol. If the price was DMC for Wallace and 2 nets pick and the nets/celtics swap pick I'm not sure I'd rather not have Gasol or Jordan. But I watch almost exclusively Celtics games so its hard for me to know who is better that whom and by how much.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Not bad at all.  Short term contracts too and leave us alive.

The lack of truly capable big men out there is an age-old problem. The dominant, versatile ones almost always go at the top of the draft. The ones drafted later usually have some limiting factor, such as lack of athleticism or no basketball IQ whatsoever or injury risk due to humans that size not being able to run up and down the court for 82 games.

So the question is do you just settle for one of those OK but flawed big men and pay them big bucks since there's such a shortage? Usually you can get by if they are lacking offensive skills but are great at D, rebounding, and picking up garbage points around the basket. Generally if you settle for the slower, good at offense type but horrible at D there is a limit to how good your team can be, especially since they command 10+ million a year just for the fact that they are tall and score a little.

And now we trade any of Sully, KO and Zeller without having a huge gap. We have enough guys at every position to make a 3 or 4 for 1 deal and still be able to put out a balanced team. We've got enough guys on different contracts that we can make all sorts of deals match up.

Lee/Zeller
Johnson/Sully/KO
Turner/Crowder/JJ
AB/IT/Young
Smart/Rozier

I bet Danny is looking at trading combos like Turner + Young + Sully + KO. Thats about 10 million right there.

If we trade Lee + Turner + Sully thats over 20 mil and would work for Melo I think.

Definitely don't see Ainge being done here.  I think now it gets interesting.

Sullinger, Olynyk or Zeller will be packaged in some sort of deal. Not possible for the Celtics to carry 5 or 6 bigs:

Johnson
Lee
Sullinger
Olynyk
Zeller
Mickey
