"I´m in a glass case of emotion!"

I've never found this movie to be funny, so someone will have to explain where the humor is in this part.  If you're going to do anchorman, though, wouldn't you rather cite both of these, lol ;D?

This part from Rat Race, one of my favorite films of all time, is priceless, ahaha ;D -

"Klaus Barbie, sometimes known as the butcher of Lyon.  Let the Jew revisionists talk about their death camps and so-called crimes against humanity.  This museum is lovingly dedicated to the Klaus Barbie that nobody knows.  The husband, the devoted father, the wine connoisseur, and 3-time, ballroom dancing champion."

If it was possible to die from laughter, I would have passed away after hearing this part for the first time.  I literally hurt from laughing so hard ;D.

About as hard as I've ever laughed in a theater.

I went and saw that on my birthday with my wife.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day but we'd been stuck in the house for 24 hours plus watching 9/11 unfold.  It was a perfect little escape movie for a couple of hours.  Lovitz at his finest.

^I love that movie! The face melting scene was so scary.

Kubrik drove his actors crazy, he made Jack do one scene before this one 113 times. Shelley Duvall was very dissapointed with the reviews of the movie.

""So here was my chance to work with Kubrick." She sipped her tea. "And that was another category. Going through day after day of excruciating work. Almost unbearable. Jack Nicholson's character had to be crazy and angry all the time. And in my character I had to cry 12 hours a day, all day long, the last nine months straight, five or six days a week. I was there a year and a month, and there must be something to Primal Scream therapy, because after the day was over and I'd cried for my 12 hours, I went home very contented. It had a very calming effect. During the day I would have been absolutely miserable." She sighed. "Can you taste the oranges in this tea? Neat, huh? Well..." Sigh.

Off the topic, but interesting to dive into Kubrick's work this way.  I heard Chuck Klosterman talk about it before (in an episode of the BS Report) and then looked into it.  Some people think he very psychologically broke down actors he worked with on purpose, including poor Shelley, to create his desired effect in the film.

He also put forth the theory that "Eyes Wide Shut" was a direct commentary on the real life Tom Cruise and his marriage to Kidman.  Pretty crazy stuff but there might just be something to it.

Pulp Fiction has the greatest lines ever.

Pretty Please with cherry on top.

Hahahahaha much of it  not suitable for this site.

Haha I know. I had so many quotes I wanted to put on here, but there are only so many asterisks you can put in one post lol

MY CB name "Redz" is an abbreviated version of my original name "redzdeadbabyredzdead"  - based on Bruce Willis' response to "Who's Zed?".  It was kind of tasteless, but I didn't really expect I would be so involved in the community aspect of this site at the time!  So, we shortened it to Redz.

Samuel Jackson has about a hundred classic lines in the diner scene alone.
Yup
