Love: "I thought it was a bush-league play. I have no doubt in my mind that he did it on purpose."

This pretty much ensures he will never play for the Celtics.  What a tool.

Quite a contrast to when KO actually was intentionally hit by Whiteside this season--and KO ended up on the phone, advising Whiteside not to jeopardize his career with such plays and saying what a good guy Hassan really was.

If Olynyk wanted to injure Love, he should have found a way to fall to the floor while holding onto Love's arm.  So, if it was on purpose, I think it was a horrible job by Olynyk.  If you're going to try to injure someone, you should do a better job.

If Love hadn't tried to dig his elbow into Kelly's rib cage, it wouldn't have happened. But he did, Kelly locked up the arm and the rest is history. Tough Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

you guys are hilarious.  If that was dewayne wade and not KO, you guys would all have your torches and pitchforks out.

he didnt intend to injury him, but it was still a pretty cheap play.

all that aside, still a non story to me.

Unless every foul that is committed is a "cheap" play, I don't understand how that is. I don't think DWade's foul on Rondo was as bad as everyone made it out to be either, and I've said that multiple times on here. Sometimes stuff just happens, but that doesn't make it a dirty play. The league is too soft anymore.

i didnt say it was dirty, i said it was cheap.  and i also said it was a nonstory.

if you felt the same way about the DWade incident, then disregard my post, but theres plenty of folks on here who would have had a coronary if that was Wade tugging on a celtics player.

Man, in hindsight, woulda been awkward if the crowd had already started a "Love-to-Boston!" or "We-want-Love!" chant by that point. Would've needed to update it later to a "Nev-er-mind!" chant.

Bye bye, Love!

That Beach Boy loving guy is a laugh riot, saying that the league will take a look at and be swift and just ha ha , right after they get through looking at Perkins and JR Smith "non basketball plays" as Bron Bron would say.

Newsflash: GetLucky says Kevin Love is "a sissy" and "angry that his title run is likely ruined."

BREAKING: Multiple sources have provided this Kevin Love quote to me: "I thought nothing bad was supposed to happen to LeBron's team. That's why I signed here."

TP - he certainly didn't try to avoid contact on that play.

As for Love's claim, I don't even know if it is in the top three of 'Bush League' plays in this game - obviously Smith and Perk went way overboard - poor Crowder!

I think when he has some time to reflect on it, he might soften or change that statement a bit.

So in other words he's calling himself bush-league?  He pulled on Kelly's arm and in return Kelly pulled on his.  Don't start dishing it and then cry about the retaliation.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Love pinned KO's arm, so KO pinned Love's arm back.

Now Love is crying about it.

What a baby.
