Most likely we are getting swept, our comeback is too little, too late.

What are some lessons we have learned from the Playoff Experience?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

  • GOT IT!!!
Smart is a keeper. Crowder is a keepr. Thomas is a bench spark plug so I hope he's ok with that. Everyone else should be available.

- Size and talent wins in the playoffs
- The Celtics are a small-ball perimeter team that can't shoot
- The best players on the Celtics can't consistently get good shots against even a mediocre defensive playoff opponent.
- Bradley and Turner are wholly inadequate as starting options on the wing
- Bass and Zeller get overwhelmed by physically superior opponents
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I wanted the Celts to play Cleveland as I wanted to see where we matched up

1.)  We need more size, someone that can protect the rim and rebound and score a little bit inside
2.)  We need a go to scorer that can also hopefully defend on the wings
3.)  We need another scorer to go with the above scorer
4.)  We do those 3 things we could beat Cleveland, but it will not be easy

2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

yep. not many keepers sadly. almost everyone is available and expendable. two that need to go are wallace and bass. addition by subtraction.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Keep Smart and Crowder. Pair Sullinger with a rim protector.

Size, size, and more size. I feel like we've been saying that for a number of years now.

We have a ways to go.

That we need scoring and rebounding.

That Smart played well for a rookie in the playoffs, Sullinger needs to get into shape to realize his potential, Thomas will have off days, Crowder is worth keeping, and Evan Turner continues to be consistently inconsistent.

Finally, LarBrd33 will drag up old Rondo posts regardless of what else is going on.

I've learned (yet already knew) that we have the best fans in the world.

It's not just size, it's skilled size.

Olynyk and Zeller are two 7-footers that don't play like it.

There's height, and then there's length and strength.  Olynyk and Zeller lack the latter two.

Disappointed in Bradley's shot selection.

Zeller and Kelly are soft finesse bigs

Bass is what he is.

Brad can coach.

Isaiah is a great option off the bench only.

Well, I thought the skill component was implicit in my comment lol

But, yeah, KO and Zeller have height, but they're not the bigs we need. We need a tough, physical presence down low who can board and provide interior D.

We need some offensive wings stat. And a rim protector.
