he's been through alot ,traded and injured and last night didn't play to his usual standard-sitting must have been tough for him as he has been the closer--

You have a tendency to overreact when it comes to Thomas.

I think he has some trouble seeing and getting the rim with the Cavs guard.   They are playing off him, he got around them in game one, but they are tall and they can still bother him playing off him when he shoots because he is short.   Playing off him has stopped a lot of the drives.

I think he's still dealing with the bruised back.  You don't get over an injury like that really for many months.  He is just a little prone to turning the ball over, part of who he is - he did that in many games during the regular season before the injury as well.  If you put him in for dynamic offense, and he's not dynamic, sure - put in a better defender.

he wants to start, lost 6th man and has been replaced in crunch for whatever reason and he left  without doing any media interviews---

Maybe he was upset with himself for having a bad game? Off night shooting, some bad turnovers, and a loss for the team.
I'm not really sure. I'll give him a call later and ask.
