Not much surprise if you've been following the situation, but he made it official today.  I know a lot of posters here were hoping he could be a potential selection with the Clippers pick.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
bummer, I really wanted him. Would have been stoked to get him for Doc Rivers.
Perhaps one of our mid first round picks next year.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

shame I liked Poeltl, Levert, and Pope this year. However, they should improve next years class even if just marginally and we have 3 1s next year so this news could be worse.

We'll get a better idea of where he is as a prospect after a healthy senior season than we would this offseason. Think he made the right move and makes Michigan pretty dangerous next year.

Jakob Poetll was always slated as a 2016 prospect but overachieved so much that people people assumed he would come out this year. He's going to be a more nationally featured player next year which should raise his draft stock.

Nigel Hayes and Sabonis too. The 16 draft is getting drafted.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
